President Museveni reaffirms committement to Rehabiltate Lango Roads As He Enjoy Massive Endorsement

Dokolo, Uganda : The National Resistance Movement Presidential candidate General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has  re-affirmed his commitment to rehabilitate the roads in Lango sub region.

Speaking today at his inaugural campaign rally at Amolatar Senior Secondary school in Amolatar District, president Museveni acknowledged that he will prioritize  the rehabilitation  of roads in Lango including; Namasale- Dokolo road,Ocero to Amolatar,Lira-Aloi- Apala to Barlegi respectively.

Museveni who is seeking re-election to the sixth term also outlined the achievements of the  NRM rulling party including;peace and stability,Poverty eradication through various government initiatives like the Parish Development Model-PDM, rehabilitation of roads like Lira- Kamdini road,Masindi port to Apac-Lira to Acholi bur among others.

Responding to some of the issues raised by the Amolatar district leaders  presented by the district NRM chairperson Camilo  Olwit, President Museveni pledged to engage  with the fishing communities in the Amolatar,Nakasongola,Teso and Lake Edward to  come out with amicable solutions to ensure fishing activities  is carried out productively.

President Museveni also said he will construct a technical school for the Amolatar community,adding that he will  start a Sacco for the Amolatar fishing community and  empower boda bodaboda riders' Sacco after the election saying at the moment the law bars him from doing so.

Museveni also lauded the people of Lango for accepting to support the initiative of restocking where each family in Lango will benefit from 5 herds of cattle.

Museveni added that he has already tasked the concerned leaders to come out with implementation measures. He however made it clear that the re-stocking program will be  done in phase manner.

Annet Anita Among,the speaker of the Parliament of Uganda and the second vice female NRM re- affirmed the NRM party's commitment to ensure its people live a modest life.

Meanwhile Denis Hamson Obua,the government chief re-echoed some of the successes of the NRM government pointing out  sustainable peace, development like construction of Akii Bua stadium, rehabilitation of roads  including Lira -Puranga among others.

Hon Obua,also the NRM Northern Vice chairman rallied the people of Amolatar to support President Museveni in the 2026 general elections considering all the mentioned successes of the NRM government.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has commenced his  campaign in Lango sub region today in Amolatar and Doloko district.Tomorrow he will be in Alebtong and later Otuke district.The campaign is scheduled to run for a week.
