AtoZ Hotel Lira Set to Host Major Independence Day Celebration

KAMPALA, UGANDA— AtoZ Hotel Lira, one of the emerging entertainment and hospitality destinations in Lira City, is set to host a major celebration as Uganda prepares to mark its Independence Day.

The hotel management says preparations are already underway to ensure that the event featuring top musicians are colourful, entertaining and memorable for residents and visitors expected to attend the event.

According to the management, the Independence Day celebration will bring together entertainment, social interaction and hospitality, providing an opportunity for people from Lira City and beyond to come together and celebrate Uganda’s independence.

AtoZ Hotel Lira has increasingly positioned itself as an entertainment hub, attracting customers through its hospitality services, social events and entertainment programmes.

The hotel, located along Juba Road in Lira City, is known for providing a lively environment where residents and visitors can relax, socialize and enjoy entertainment.

Management says the Independence Day event is part of its efforts to contribute to the city’s growing entertainment and hospitality sector while giving the public an opportunity to celebrate the country’s national day in a festive atmosphere.

Uganda celebrates Independence Day annually on October 9, commemorating the country’s attainment of independence from British colonial rule in 1962.

As preparations continue, organizers are expected to announce more details about the entertainment programme, participating artists and other activities lined up for the celebration.
