CHRISTMAS: Kyoga County MP Aspirant Adupa Calls For Love Regardless Party Affiliation

 Amolatar District, Uganda: Felix Adupa Ongwec, who’s eyeing the Kyoga County MP seat, is urging everyone to show love and support for those in need as we gear up to celebrate the anniversary of Jesus Christ's birth on December 25, 2025. 

He said the love should be extended to each others regardless of polticial Party's affiliatation.

Adupa, a prominent figure in the Lango sub-region and a cabinet minister in the Lango cultural foundation, delivered this on Sunday. He expressed gratitude to God for watching over the Lango community throughout the year.

"As we near the end of the year, I want to take a moment to thank the Almighty for His guidance and blessings that have brought us this far. I also want to extend my heartfelt condolences to families who have lost loved ones this year. May the Lord provide you comfort and strength during this festive season," he said.

Adupa encouraged everyone to do good for others, just as Jesus did, during this celebration. "It’s not right to celebrate while others are suffering. I urge you to support those in pain and keep them in your prayers."

The God-fearing man from Amolatar also reminded people to stay obedient to God, emphasizing that His blessings and favor are abundant for those who follow His laws.

On his political journey, Adupa reaffirmed his strong commitment to run for the Member of Parliament position for Kioga County in 2026. "This is our chance to free Kioga from the hands of deceitful and selfish individuals who have taken advantage of our trust for their own gain. Their time is over, and now is the time for genuine leadership."

The young politician also took the opportunity to outline his political plans, stating that he will kick off consultations with the local community in Kyoga County starting January 2025. He urged his supporters not to be disheartened by any propaganda aimed at undermining his agenda.

"My goals for the upcoming election focus on peace, wealth creation, infrastructure development, health services, and quality education."
