Beb Wine Honoured for Supporting Disability Inclusion at Won Nyaci Charity Run

LIRA CITY, UGANDA — Beb Wine Company Ltd has been recognised for its contribution to the 2026 Won Nyaci Charity Run held at Akii-Bua Stadium in Lira City, in support of persons with disabilities across the Lango sub-region.

According to information provided at the event, Beb Wine donated wheelchairs and purchased running kits to support participants and the charity fundraising drive.

The event brought together runners, cultural leaders and community members to mobilise resources for mobility aids, including wheelchairs, tricycles and white canes, aimed at improving the independence and participation of persons with disabilities.

Beb Wine’s contribution highlights the role of private-sector businesses in supporting community welfare and promoting disability inclusion in Northern Uganda.

The initiative also underscores the importance of partnerships between businesses, community organisations and other stakeholders in improving the lives of vulnerable groups.
