I Will Arrest Them Soon; Gen Muhoozi Warns Those Feeding His Father Lies, Points Out Stephen Nuwagaba As One

Chief of Defence Forces Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has warned people he accuses of feeding his father, President Yoweri Museveni, with what he described as lies.

In a statement, Muhoozi singled out Stephen Nuwagaba, accusing him of being among those allegedly misleading the President.

Muhoozi said he had already explained the situation to his father and claimed that Museveni was now aware of what he described as the truth.

“They are idiots who have been feeding my father with lies starting with Stephen Nuwagaba,” Muhoozi said.

The General further stated that he had discussed the matter with Museveni and was confident that his father had received his side of the story.

He then issued a warning to those he accused of misleading the President, saying they would soon face arrest.

“I will arrest them soon,” Muhoozi stated, without providing further details about the alleged offences or when the arrests would take place.

His remarks have drawn attention to the growing public debate surrounding people close to the President and the influence they may have on information reaching him.
