LIRA, UGANDA; Parents across Lango sub region have been left in excitement over excellent performance registered by Hill City College in the just release Uganda Certificate of Education UCE results of 2025.
Located in Ayago, Lira East City Division, the school realized an outstanding performance where all the 121 registered candidates qualified to join the next academic levels.
According result sheet secured by the Lou Native publications, multiple Grades A, B and C scored in most subjects, especially in the Sciences.
The school Head teacher, Innocent Odongo attributed the outstanding performance to early completion of the syllabus by the competent teacher, seminars conducted by the education/examinations exerts from UNEB that guided students on better approach to questions.
“We also took our students through a series of tests and internal examinations, prepared them for the UNEB final examinations,” Odongo highlighted, adding that, they also engaged their students in series resource mock examinations from top partner schools across the country to better the performance of their learner.
According to Odongo, the well-equipped laboratories also motivated the students to put more efforts in science subjects and that they started from senior two until S.4. This he said resulted in better performance too.
He thanked the stakeholders including parents, students, teacher, and members of the administration that played different tasks to ensure high improvement in this year’s performance.
According to the national ranking of 2025 UCE performance by a government News Pepper (New Vision), Hill City College is in the list of top 200 schools in the country.
