Bulluge Comprehensive High School , Lira Excels Again in 2025 UCE Examinations 

Bulluge Comprehensive High School, a leading private academic institution in Lango, has once again demonstrated outstanding academic excellence. The school recorded a remarkable 100 percent pass rate in the 2025 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations, with all candidates achieving good grades of A, B, or C across all subjects.

Located in Lira City West Division, Anai Ward, Bulluge Comprehensive School stands as one of the pioneering secondary schools in the region, renowned for its commitment to academic excellence and holistic student development. The school's consistent performance has cemented its reputation as a beacon of educational achievement in Lango.

In this year’s examinations, out of 145 registered candidates at Bulluge Comprehensive High School, the majority excelled with high grades, reflecting the school's rigorous academic standards and dedicated teaching staff. The school’s success is attributed to a collaborative effort among students, teachers, and parents.

Headteacher Martine Muniala attributed the extraordinary results to a strong partnership and teamwork. “Teamwork was key. We worked closely with educational experts who guided our students in challenging areas, giving them the confidence to face the exams without fear,” Muniala explained. 

He emphasized that the school's vision remains focused on providing quality, affordable education that empowers learners from Lango to compete nationally and internationally. “We want our children to stand tall anywhere in Uganda,” Muniala added.

The headteacher also called on parents to enroll their children into classes from Senior One up to Senior Five, emphasizing the importance of early and continuous engagement in the education process to sustain such excellent results.

As schools across the country continue celebrating their academic achievements, these results coincide with the national milestone where the 2025 UCE overall pass rate hit a historic 99.7%. This impressive figure reflects the positive impact of the new curriculum nationwide, which aims to improve learning outcomes and equip students with relevant skills for the future.
