Lira city Parents, Cambridge City Sch & Adyel P.S Set To Uplift Lango In Education

Lira, Uganda: The Luo Natives | As we kick off the new academic year 2025, some of the top primary schools are raising the bar and setting ambitious goals to achieve excellent exam results this year.

These schools are filled with talented educators and energetic young learners who are actively participating in classroom activities. During our discussions, the enthusiastic school leader shared their plans for enhancing education quality. Amos Okello, the Headteacher of Lira City Parents in Lira City West, mentioned that they have already established clear objectives to ensure their team delivers impactful education to the community.

Okello emphasized that while parents, the community, and local leaders are celebrating the impressive results from the 2024 PLE, they are still committed to leading the way in providing high-quality education throughout Uganda. He encouraged his peers to focus not just on achieving good PLE results but also on delivering a well-rounded education that prepares children for life in their communities.

Over at Adyel Primary School, one of the top public schools in Lango, teachers are well-prepared to educate their students. Mr. Isaac Otoa, the Headteacher, confirmed this during a media briefing, stating that they are now competing on a national level rather than just regionally. He stressed the importance of teachers coming together to provide quality education for their students.

Meanwhile, Daniel Munu, the Headteacher of Cambridge City School on Juba Road, assured the media of their commitment to maintaining high educational standards in this new academic year. He highlighted that their focus is not only on helping children pass their exams but also on equipping them for success in their everyday lives. Cambridge City School, a private institution, is dedicated to enhancing learning in Lango, offering students a variety of experiences, including sports and games.
