Obia Memorial Nursery & Primary School-Aduku registers outstanding PLE performance, Excites Lango

LANGO , UGANDA; Obia Memorial Nursery and Primary School, has set landmark record, raising an unmatched bar of the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) Performance in Kwania district.

With a 50 percent of the registered candidates scoring Division One, and all other pupils in Division Two in the 2025 PLE, Obia has remained a beacon of hope in academic excellence, creating excitement among not only parents but the entire community, and leaders in the district.

According the recent release from UNEB, eighteen 18 candidates who  sat 2025  PLE at Obia Memorial Nursery  and Primary School, all passed in registered impressive grades.

Found within Adyeda trading Centre, Aduku Town Council, the school has highly qualified  teachers and is located in a very conducive environment that foster excellent performance and the holistic development of a primary school child.

Isaac Opio, the head teacher of the school has confirmed the record saying from the year 2023, they have been consistently taking the lead in the PLE performance in Kwaina district, a testament of the tireless efforts of the experience and qualified staff.

“We are still working towards maintaining the standards as our major focus is to produce many pupils in aggregate Four in the subsequent sittings,” Opio pledges, calling upon the parents to grab the opportunities of the few vacancies remaining from nursery and their primary sections.

In 2025, Obia Memorial registered 18 candidates, out of them, nine (09) got First Grade, and the rest scored high second grades, an excellent performance registered, which has put the entire Kwania district top in Lango.

·         Well-informed and highly qualified up-to-date teachers, most of whom are the PLE Examiners

·         On top of having spacious classrooms that facilitates the learning, the school also have well-spacious dormitories to accommodate the boarding pupils.

·         The school is connected to Electricity but they also have solar lights that facilitate the reading for continues learning

·         Well-established water source tap water within the school compound to maintain the hygiene of the learners, among other state-of-the-art facilities.
