NRM ELECTIONS! PASQINE ACIO RECEIVES STRONG ENDORSEMENTS IN HER MOVE TO CONTEST FOR WORKERS MP SEAT

Kampala, Uganda: After being cleared by the NRM Electoral Commission to contest for the Workers' Member of Parliament race, Hon. Pasqine Acio is currently receiving strong endorsements from delegates across various regions—an encouraging sign of her upcoming victory in her political journey.

The engineer-turned-politician was officially nominated after fulfilling all the NRM electoral requirements to run for the parliamentary seat. With a background rooted in youth politics, Acio is highly favored to emerge as the party’s flag bearer.

While addressing the media, she expressed confidence in winning both the party’s internal elections and the main national election scheduled for February 2026. She unveiled her vision to advocate for the welfare of workers through collaboration with the government and workers' unions.

Acio pledged to actively participate in parliament to safeguard workers’ rights and ensure they are not violated. She also revealed her intention to lobby for allocations and initiatives that will directly benefit the workers' community.
