Health Minister Dr. Aceng Ocero Gives Keynote Address At a High-Level Conference To Eliminate HIV in Africa

KAMPALA UGANDA: THE Ugandan Health Minister, Dr. Jne Ruth Aceng Ocero on Monday afternoon gave a keynote address at a High Level Conference to ignite the fight to eliminate the Mother to Child HIV and other disease transmission.

‎A three-day Triple Elimination of Mother to Child transmission of HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis B Conference opened on Monday 21st and will run Up to 23rd at Speke Resort Munyonyo in Kamapla.

‎Dr. Jane Aceng, who doubles as the Lira City Woman MP, said Uganda has been at the forefront of triple Elimination of HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis B having launched it in 2019.

‎

‎"We developed the Elimination plan 2019- 2024. We have a new plan running to 2030," she noted.

‎The Vice President of the Republic of Uganda, Maj (Rtd) Jessica Alupo Epel is representing the President at the conference, which attracted high-profile personalities actress the globe.
