Erute South-MP Elect (Baba) Engola's Powerful Birthday Wishes to CDF Muhoozi as Ugandans Participate in PLU MK Nationwide Birthday Run
Lira, Uganda; Member of Parliament Sam Engola has extended warm birthday wishes to Uganda’s Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), Muhoozi Kainerugaba, as thousands of Ugandans across the country marked the occasion with a celebratory birthday run.
The annual birthday run, which continues to grow in popularity, brought together people of all ages in a show of unity, patriotism, and commitment to healthy living. Participants took part in various activities aimed at promoting national cohesion and physical fitness.
In Lira City, supporters of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) and promoters of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) organized a 10-kilometre marathon. The run also served a charitable purpose, raising funds to support vulnerable communities, including children in baby homes and orphanages.
In his message, Engola commended Muhoozi for his leadership and service to the nation.
“Happy birthday to CDF Muhoozi Kainerugaba. May this year bring you continued success, good health, and prosperity for both you and Uganda,” Engola said.
He also joined celebrations in Kampala at Kololo, where he praised Muhoozi’s dedication and commitment to national development. Engola, a senior NRM historical figure, further expressed appreciation to the people of Erute South for actively participating in the celebrations, particularly those who took part in the Lira City run.
The widespread participation in the birthday run highlights the respect and support Muhoozi commands among sections of the public. It also underscores the importance of unity and collective effort in fostering national development.
As the celebrations continue, many Ugandans expressed hope that Muhoozi’s leadership will further contribute to the country’s stability and progress.
