Wisdom High School Takes Lead in UCE performance 2024

Lira, Uganda: The Luo Natives | Wisdom High School in Kole District has made it onto the list of top-performing schools for the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) 2024.
The official report shows that Wisdom High School has done exceptionally well, with all students achieving impressive grades. Most of them earned distinctions, scoring A and B, while only a few received C. Thanks to these results, every candidate is set to advance to the next level of education, whether that’s at an institution or moving on to higher secondary school (Advanced Level).
During a press conference at the school, Ambrose Ogwal, the dedicated school director, shared that their success stems from commitment and teamwork. He expressed his happiness over the results and encouraged parents to support their children’s educational journeys. Ogwal also highlighted that Wisdom High School offers a conducive learning environment. He pledged to enhance educational standards in the Lango sub-region and across northern Uganda. The school is conveniently located along the Apac-Lira-Kitgum road, just a few kilometers from Lira City.
Who’s behind the school?
Wisdom High School is run by a team of experienced educators who have trained and guided many successful individuals in the country. Notably, Ambrose Ogwal is a key figure in UNATU, an organization that unites professional teachers. He has worked at various reputable schools nationwide before founding Wisdom High School.
In a previous media interview, Ogwal mentioned that he noticed the struggles parents in the north face when trying to access quality education. This inspired him to create a school in Lango, making quality education more accessible for families at a reasonable cost.
For the past five years, the school has consistently excelled in both UCE and UACE exam results.
