DAF School of Nursing and Midwifery Excels in National Exams, Opens Fresh Admissions for July Students on Bursaries

 

KOLE, UGANDA ; After excelling in The Uganda Health Professions Assessment Board   Examinations 2025  with good grades, setting strong academic records, DAF SCHOOL OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY, KOLE DISTRICT, has officially opened fresh admission for the new intake of July 2026  to allow bright, talented, and qualifying students to achieve their ambitions.

This was unveiled by the institutional academic registrar, Emmanuel Odongo, while releasing the examination results to the media.

In his office at the school, Odongo informed the media that the institution presented 97 students in different categories including the first -year, second- year, and the finalists. He explained that all 97 passed well with distinctions and credits.

The finalists have excelled, qualified and will receive certificates that allow further education in the diploma level after working for two years as required before enrolling for the diploma program extension.

Regarding the admission, he said that they have launched admissions for the fresh students for July intake and urged parents to take advantage of this opportunity to enroll their children in this outstanding institution.

As a pioneering medical school in the north, the institution is implementing new policies to address enrollment gaps and ensure that students from underprivileged family backgrounds receive education and contribute to the national development of the country through their bursary scheme.

Sharing her plan to promote education in the greater north, Alice Akite disclosed that they are collaborating with different cultural leaders in the country to provide the bursaries recommended by them to pay a reduced tuition fee of only 500,000 per semester.

 

‘’We are signing agreements with cultural leaders to provide bursaries to them, allowing to receive training from us with less financial burden’’. 

She confirmed singing agreement with Lango cultural Lango cultural institution, Wonyaci Bursary for Certificates and Diploma.  

She encouraged students from Teso, Lango, Acholi, West Nile, and other parts of the country to make good use of this opportunity.
