Over 30 members of the Great Salvation Ministry Receives discipleship training In Lira City

Lango Uganda: More than 30 students who graduated from The Great Salvation Ministry in Lira City, northern Uganda, have been encouraged to go out and make a difference in their communities through the teachings of the Bible. These lucky graduates received their training with the help of Favour of God Ministry International, a Christian organization dedicated to training church leaders in Uganda.

During the graduation ceremony held at Kakoge C, Kakoge ward in Lira City on Friday, December 6, 2024, Pastor Nixson Okwir, a representative from Favour of God Ministries International, delivered an inspiring sermon. He expressed gratitude to the students for committing their lives to serve God and urged them to apply their biblical knowledge to uplift their communities.

He advised them, "When you return home, at your workplace, or in your church, embody Christ and share the word of God to bring about change, but remember not to use your skills to undermine your church leaders." Pastor Okello also emphasized the importance of prayer to resist temptation, reminding them that the devil is always lurking, waiting to lead believers astray.

Pastor Regan Adoko, a field teacher, noted that the enthusiastic graduates are eager to spread the word. He mentioned that many of them were previously lacking the biblical knowledge that could guide them in their lives. The graduates were taught ten key doctrines to deepen their understanding of God and strengthen their daily lives. The pastor assured the community that these graduates are now equipped to share the word and make a positive impact.

In addition, 78 students were trained in Otuke District, along with others in Dokolo, Alito in Kamrbedo, and Amenamene in Alwa. Favour of God is a Christian organization that has been active in the Lango sub-region, primarily through portable Bible schools. This semester, they trained over 800 individuals across eight different training centers in northern and eastern Uganda. One of the graduates, Mr. Morish Amoki, also serves as an administrator thanked Favor of God Ministries international for offering this opportunity to them.
