Lira City, Uganda — Pius Olam, the newly elected Chairperson of the NRM Entrepreneurs in Lira City, has pledged to unite efforts in promoting the achievements and candidature of President Yoweri Museveni and all NRM candidates ahead of the upcoming elections.

Olam made this commitment just hours after being declared unopposed during the recently concluded District and City NRM Structure Elections on Friday. While addressing a large crowd and media at Ambala Primary School, he emphasized his dedication to strengthening the party’s presence within the entrepreneurial community and beyond. “As I take on this new role, I promise to work tirelessly in rallying support for our President and all NRM candidates. Our collective efforts are vital for the continued development and stability of Uganda,” Olam stated.

Local leaders and entrepreneurs, including prominent tycoons in Lango, expressed confidence in Olam’s leadership and his dedication to the party’s ideals.

Olam’s pledge comes at a critical time as the NRM seeks to consolidate its influence across the region. His leadership is expected to energize grassroots support, especially among entrepreneurs and small business owners, aligning their interests with the national development agenda.

As the NRM prepares for the upcoming elections, Olam’s commitment to unity and the promotion of the party’s candidates is viewed as a positive step toward mobilizing support in Lira City and surrounding districts.

Although limited information is available publicly, Honourable Pius Olam is recognized as an inspiring and ambitious youth contributing significantly to the economic growth of Lira City. He is also the proprietor of Champion Wines in Lira, where he has employed many young people, fostering local employment and entrepreneurship.
