GREAT ACHIEVEMENT! FORMER NTV Reporter Maurice Ochol Joins US Navy Army Force

Kampala, Uganda: A former reporter from NTV Uganda has enlisted in the US Navy, which is the branch of the US military that conducts operations at sea. Maurice Ochol previously worked at the television station located in Serena Hotel before moving on to new opportunities.

At the time of his departure, he was a senior parliamentary and political reporter at NTV Uganda. Maurice joined the US Navy alongside a group that included several Black Americans. Now serving as a Navy officer, he has been receiving messages of congratulations from his old colleagues at NTV Uganda and other journalists in Uganda.

“I can’t help but congratulate my guy, Maurice Ochol, for choosing to serve in the US Navy. Congrats, bro! Wishing you smooth sailing as our newest Navy member. Fair winds and following seas, Non sibi sed patriae,” wrote Moses Walugembe, a former employee of NBS TV.
