**EBENEZER UNIVERSITY, LIRA, EXTENDS CHRISTMAS GREETINGS, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY AND EDUCATION

LIRA, Uganda– In a spirit of festive solidarity and national unity, Ebenezer University, Lira Campus, has extended heartfelt Christmas greetings to all Ugandans, celebrating the season of joy, reflection, and togetherness.

The message, delivered by  Mr. Richard Okullu emphasized the values of hope, compassion, and community—core principles that guide the university’s mission in Northern Uganda and beyond.

“As we celebrate the birth of Christ, let us remember the less fortunate, embrace one another in peace, and renew our commitment to building a prosperous and harmonious Uganda,”  “Ebenezer University, Lira, stands with every Ugandan family during this sacred season.”

Located in the heart of Lira, the university has become an educational beacon in the region, promoting not only academic excellence but also social responsibility and cultural pride. This Christmas, the institution reaffirmed its dedication to community development and student empowerment.

Mr. Joseph Esiana, the University’s Academic Registrar, noted, “Christmas is a time to give back and to spread light. Our students and staff are actively involved in initiatives that touch lives and inspire hope.”

Admissions for 2026 Now Open

Mr. Esiana also announced that admissions for the 2026 academic year are now open, with programs available from Certificate to Bachelor’s levels across key disciplines.

“We have begun our admissions process from Monday to Friday during working hours,” he stated. “We are also currently running our in-service study programs for teachers, which remain a priority.”

Ebenezer University, Lira continues to play a pivotal role in higher education in Northern Uganda, offering programs in business, education, agriculture, health sciences, and information technology, with a strong emphasis on practical, community-relevant training.
