Museveni Is a Military Genius, He Sees Things Before They Happen – Gen Muhoozi Praises His Father

Chief of Defence Forces Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has publicly praised his father, President Yoweri Museveni, describing him as a military genius with an extraordinary ability to anticipate events before they happen. Muhoozi made the remarks while sharing a picture showing the President giving him instructions on military deployments.

In his message, Muhoozi expressed admiration for Museveni's military knowledge and experience, suggesting that his father's understanding of military operations goes beyond what ordinary people can easily comprehend. The CDF appeared keen to highlight the lessons he continues to receive from the President.

"Mzee is a military genius. He sees things before they happen. In the picture he is instructing me on army deployments," Muhoozi wrote, accompanying the photograph with the remarks.

The statement has attracted attention because it highlights the close relationship between the President and his son, who currently occupies Uganda's highest professional military office. It also offers a glimpse into the military discussions and interactions that take place between the two leaders.

Museveni has a long military background dating back to the liberation struggle that brought the National Resistance Movement to power in 1986. Over the years, he has remained closely involved in security and military affairs, while Muhoozi has built his own career within the Uganda People's Defence Forces.

Muhoozi's latest praise also comes at a time when discussions about Uganda's political and military leadership have increasingly attracted public attention. His relationship with his father has become a subject of debate, particularly amid growing conversations about the possibility of him entering the presidential race in 2031.

The photograph and accompanying message have also drawn attention to the role Museveni continues to play in advising his son on military matters, despite Muhoozi's current position as Chief of Defence Forces. The CDF's remarks suggest that he continues to value his father's experience and guidance.

Muhoozi's public tribute adds another interesting moment to the long-standing father-and-son relationship between the two figures, with the President's military history and his son's current command position placing them at the centre of Uganda's ongoing military and political discussions.
