Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng Ocero, the Member of Parliament for Lira City, has officially launched her campaign to retain her parliamentary seat for the 2026-2031 term, receiving a massive welcome in Boke Ward, Lira City East Division.

The community of Boke Ward turned out in full force, celebrating what they described as an "iron lady with a golden heart." Residents praised Dr. Aceng for her tangible contributions and beneficial projects in the area, signaling strong grassroots support for her re-election bid.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Aceng expressed her profound gratitude for the overwhelming love and support.
