LANGO- Hope Alive Vocational Training Sch Breaks the Cycle of Poverty, 20 Unemployed Youths Received Training In Welding & Metal Fabrication

In Lira City, Uganda, a remarkable transformation is taking place along Juba Road. What was once a standard metal workshop has evolved into **Hope Alive Vocational Training School**—a vital center providing skills and opportunity to unemployed youth and children from underprivileged backgrounds.

This past Sunday, the school celebrated a significant milestone: **over 20 youths graduated** after successfully completing intensive practical training in metal fabrication. Equipped with these skills, they are now prepared to earn a sustainable livelihood in a growing technological field.

Speaking to the media, **Director Ebong Denis** expressed gratitude for the community’s unwavering support.  

“These youth have been thoroughly trained to handle all kinds of metal fabrication, meeting current market demands,” he stated.  

He also announced that the school is now **accepting new enrollees aged 15 and above** to learn these life-changing skills.

Hope Alive is more than a training center—it’s a beacon of hope for vulnerable groups, including **orphans, young mothers, and others unable to afford formal education** due to financial constraints.

A devout Christian, Denis Ebong is driven by his faith to give back. In addition to running the school, he **personally provides bursaries to total orphans**, ensuring they too can access vocational training.

Looking ahead, Denis is actively collaborating with **NGOs and stakeholders** to expand the school’s impact and bring his community-support vision to life. Through skill-building and compassion, Hope Alive is not just shaping metal—it’s shaping futures.

**Affordable Training with Guaranteed Outcomes**

The training program is affordably priced for its one-year duration. Most importantly, after graduation, the majority of students are offered employment, either within the school’s workshop or through external placements.

“No youth who has successfully completed our training remains idle—all are either employed or have started their own workshops,” Ebong affirmed.
