Kole South MP Ocen Donates State-of-the-Art Ambulance to Boost community Healthcare Services

Lira, Uganda: Hon. Ocen Peter, the Member of Parliament for Kole South, has delivered a brand-new, state-of-the-art ambulance equipped with oxygen to serve the community. This is the third ambulance Hon. Ocen has procured for his constituents, demonstrating his commitment to improving healthcare services in the region.
The ambulance, bearing the digital number plate UA 893AJ, was received by voters from Aboke Town Council, through Kole District Headquarters, and then taken to Bala Town Council and Akalo Town Council. In Akalo, the ambulance was blessed at a church service led by the Zonal head of zonal catehist Alex Evaline Odongo who quoted, "Let us not neglect to do good and to share what we have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God" (Hebrews 13:16). He added, "This ambulance is a testament to Hon. Ocen's dedication to serving our community, and we are grateful for his efforts."
During the church service, the Chairperson ofthe Chapel Council Ocen Alex , expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Ocen for the generous donation of 20 bags of cement for the innovations of house of zonal head of catechist , which is in a bad state. He said, "We are grateful for Hon. Ocen's kindness and generosity. His donation will go a long way in improving our infrastructure. This ambulance is a gift to the entire community, and we welcome it with open arms."
The Chairman continued, "This ambulance is not just a vehicle; it's a symbol of hope and care for our community. It will serve everyone, regardless of their religion or party affiliation. We appreciate Hon. Ocen's vision for a healthier Kole South."
Voters who attended the event expressed their gratitude to Hon. Ocen and pledged their support for his re-election in 2026. One voter, Tom Odongo, said, "We are grateful for Hon. Ocen's efforts to improve our healthcare services. We will stand by him and support his re-election bid because he has delivered on his promises."
Another voter,John Oculi, added, "Hon. Ocen has shown us that he cares about our well-being. We will continue to support him and encourage him to continue his good work."
The ambulance is set to be officially launched on Thursday, May 15, 2025, in Bala Town Council by UPC Party President Hon. Jimmy Akena. The community looks forward to the official launch and the positive impact this ambulance will have on their lives.
With this delivery, Hon. Ocen Peter continues to demonstrate his dedication to the welfare of his constituents, ensuring they have access to critical healthcare services.
