UPC Odongo Asenti Endorses Museveni A head of 2026 in the Home District UPC Akena

Apac, Uganda: There were celebrations in Apac at Apac boma ground among NRM supporters during the launching of Malaria vaccine campaign when UPC strong carder also local council 5, Asanti Odongo chairperson publicly expressed deep support and endorsement for president Museveni as 2026 draw closer.

In delivering his welcoming remarks, the straightforward upc politician began by praising the president for offering development in Apac DISTRICT.

I want to say thank you president Museveni for the current upgrade of Apac, Lira Kitgum road, USMID road projects in Apac, Odongo also further highlighted NRM's contributions in health which includes allocation of funds to renovate Apac Hospital among.

He told the Prime Minister that while he is UPC by birth, he is also NRM by ideology. 

I am a UPC member but here in Apac, we work together with NRM as one people.

He Endorsed president Museveni in 2026 election and pledge to support much as UPC, their candidate is Jimmy James Micheal Akena. 

Odongo Asanti was the councilor for Akokoro subcounty, the home village of the late President Obote before assuming the position of the district chairperson of Apac District.
