Just In! Ebenezer University School of Health Science, Lira Congratulates PLE Candidates on Successful Completion of Their Final Exams

Soroti, Uganda— Northern Uganda’s leading private nursing school, Ebenezer University School of Health Science, has commended Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) candidates across the region for their successful completion of their final exams, which concluded on Tuesday this week.

While addressing the media, Mr. Richard Okullu, the Institutional Director of Ebenezer University, expressed gratitude to both the candidates and their school leaders for reaching this important milestone in their educational journey. He emphasized that such achievements are crucial building blocks for students' academic foundation, particularly in science-based disciplines.

In addition, Mr. Okullu announced their admissions program for the 2026 intake, encouraging the current PLE candidates who are now transitioning to secondary education to focus more on science courses. He highlighted that Ebenezer University is currently admitting students for certificate programs in Nursing, Midwifery, and Pharmacy, aimed at equipping students with vital skills in the health sector.

The director also disclosed that admissions are open to students holding Uganda Certificates of Education (UCE). Ebenezer University was established in 2025 by a team of experienced educational experts to address the increasing demand for qualified medical professionals in Uganda and the East African region.

Founded with the vision of bridging the skills gap in healthcare, the institution prides itself on offering affordable tuition fees designed to enable students from underprivileged backgrounds to access quality education and training. This approach aims to empower more young Ugandans to pursue careers in vital health professions, ultimately contributing to improved healthcare services nationwide.
