Lira City, Uganda : As most of the primary and post-primary learning institutions across Uganda grapple with low turn-up of learners reporting for Academic term two, Elwa Sunrise Schools has received a massive number of learners.

Elwaa Sunrise School, a Christian-based learning institution in Lira City, has kicked off the second term with renewed energy and a strong commitment to fostering a conducive learning environment.

 The school’s administration expressed optimism about maintaining and surpassing previous academic achievements, emphasizing their dedication to nurturing well-rounded students.

As pupils returned to classrooms this term, teachers and staff demonstrated a vibrant enthusiasm, fueling a positive atmosphere across the campus.

Nelson Apwonya, the school head teacher highlighted their strategic plans to enhance learning outcomes through innovative teaching methods, improved facilities, and increased extracurricular activities.

“We are excited to welcome our pupils back with a fresh spirit and a clear focus on academic excellence and holistic development. Our goal is to create an engaging and supportive environment where every learner can thrive.”

He added saying “as a way of fostering the inclusive learning, as a school, we acknowledge the fact that, second term is always a challenging period financially, therefore, we are opened to receiving request from parents to Clare fees by installment”

Parents and guardians also expressed confidence in the school’s direction, noting the efforts to ensure a smooth transition into the new term and the importance of maintaining high educational standards.
