Alebtong, Uganda -David Livingston Ojok, a visionary leader declared to contest for the LCV Councilor seat representing Abia Subcounty in Alebtong District under UPC ticket.

Ojok’s candidacy, marked by a rare show of unity within his party, saw him emerge unopposed during the UPC primary elections—a testament to his widespread support among party members.

In an exclusive phone interview, Ojok confirmed that his official nomination will take place on September 3, 2025.

In addition, Ojok David expressed his readiness for the electoral battle ahead, he acknowledged the competition from opponents representing other political parties but remained confident in his grassroots connection and track record.
