Mentor SS Kicks Off USSSA Lango Zone Championship Defense with 5-1 Victory

Lira, Uganda : Defending champions Mentor SS has made an impressive win in the USSSA Lango Zone Championship with 5-1 win over Muntu Seed SS from Amolatar.
As the top team from Lira City, Mentor SS is determined to retain their title despite the tough competition from other schools across the Lango zone according to their team coach.
The USSSA Lango Zone Championship brings together top schools from nine districts and one city, with each district fielding two schools in both the boys' and girls' categories.
The tournament will identify the best three boys' teams to represent Lango at the national championships in Ngora, while the top two girls' teams will secure spots at the national finals in Bukedea.
Mentor SS has shown excellent form, winning four matches and drawing one in the group stages.
2024-Previous Tournament Results
Quarterfinals: Defeated Otwal SS 5-0
Semifinals: Won 3-1 against Amolator SS
Finals: Claimed victory over King of Kings with a single goal from Ebal Junior.
