Lira, Uganda — In a commendable effort to support education and empower young learners, Ferroz Auto Spa Lira, a leading entertainment and service hub in the region, has generously donated writing materials to the P.7 candidates of Lira P.7 School, just ahead of the upcoming Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) set to begin on Monday.

The donation ceremony took place at the school premises in Lira City and was attended by school officials, representatives from Ferroz Auto Spa, and proud candidates preparing for their crucial exams. This initiative underscores the company's commitment to social responsibility and community development.

The primary goal of this gesture is to ease the financial burden on students, many of whom face resource constraints, and to motivate them to perform their best in the examinations. The donation includes notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, and other essential writing materials necessary for their exam preparations.

Speaking at the event, Madam Monica Ewoo, the management representative of Ferroz Auto Spa, expressed her organization's dedication to community upliftment through education. "We believe that investing in education is investing in the future of our community. We are proud to support these young learners as they prepare for their PLE exams," she stated. She further added that this initiative is part of their broader corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities aimed at fostering sustainable development in Lira.

Additionally, Madam Ewoo announced that Ferroz Auto Spa will provide breakfast to all the P.7 candidates during the exam period, ensuring that students have the necessary energy to concentrate and perform well.

The PLE exams are a significant milestone for P.7 candidates, as their performance determines their eligibility for secondary education and future career opportunities.
