Kole, Uganda : Skyland High School in Kole District has made headlines by setting an impressive academic record in the 2025 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examinations. The achievement has sparked celebrations among students, parents, teachers, and the wider community, who are proud of the students' hard work and dedication.

As a faith-based institution, Skyland High School has long upheld its commitment to academic excellence and moral values. This year, the school notably raised the majority of students in science combination subjects, aligning with the government's policy to promote STEM education and nurture future scientists, engineers, and healthcare professionals.

The results showcased exceptional performances, with the top student scoring an outstanding 18 points in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics (BCM). A close contender scored 17 points in the same sciences, while others achieved scores of 16, 15, 13, 12, 11, and 10 points, all qualifying for the next level of education. 

The school administration shared with the media that out of their 57 candidates, an impressive 80 percent performed exceptionally well, securing admission to various universities across the country. This is a significant improvement compared to last year's results, reflecting the school's dedication to quality education and the hard work of its students and staff.
