Amolatar District, Uganda – In a bold move for Agidak Sub- County’s 2026 LCIII seat, Ronald Alele Ongwech has entered the race, bringing with him a vision focused on transformation, accountability, and genuine service to the community.

Alele, a newly registered member of the NRM, announced his candidacy last year , pledging to revitalize essential services and improve the lives of Agikdakresidents.

Alele’s campaign is centred on a holistic approach to development, with priorities that span infrastructure, education, healthcare, and governance.

He promises to advocate for government project monitoring and effective service delivery, emphasizing the prudent use of resources to bring tangible improvements to his constituency.

“The people of Agidak deserve real representation and a leader committed to their everyday challenges,” Alele stated, adding that his plans aim to uplift all sectors of life in Agidak.

He is particularly committed to addressing the poor state of local infrastructure, calling it “absurd” that residents continue to face difficulties with basic services like roads and healthcare.

His vision for better governance and resource management is resonating with many residents who feel neglected by the current leadership.

Aiming to unseat incumbent Hon Tommy Otanga , Alele has already drawn the attention and support of a diverse base of voters.

Tom Richard Okello, a long-time resident, praised Alele for his dedication to inclusivity, particularly in advocating for minority groups who feel excluded from decision-making.

“Alele has always been there for us; he listens to everyone,” Okello shared, adding that Alele’s hands-on approach is exactly what Agidak needs.

Another supporter, Felix Omara, noted Alele’s local achievements, which have positively impacted several villages in Agidak.

“He’s already done so much without being in office,” Omara said. “Imagine what he can accomplish if elected.”

Known for his resilience and commitment, Alele has promised he will not back down in the face of competition, urging voters to join him in pushing for substantial change.

“I am ready to serve my people with everything I have. Together, we can make Agidak a model of progress and good governance,” he declared.

With his focus on inclusivity, accountability, and sustainable development, Ronald Alele is quickly becoming a formidable contender for the Agidak LCIII Chairmanships seat, positioning himself as the candidate ready to lead the region into a brighter future.

He also assured the voters that if elected into Office, he will fast-track the implementation of wealth creation programs like the Parish Development Model and Emyooga to improve on the household incomes among the families.

“I want to aid President Museveni in ensuring that these programs reach the intended beneficiaries unlike the opposition who aim at frustrating the same,” Alele said.

“President Museveni is a good leader who is passionate about Ugandans becoming prosperous and that is what I have also been doing as Alele, I am happy to join him,” Alele said.
