Ikwera Girls Senior Secondary School registers an outstanding performance in the 2025 UCE

Last week the national examinations body UNEB released the UCE results, showing improved performance, especially in the science subjects. Ikwera Girls appeared among the schools in the country that has done well, showing consistency in the good performance in the entire northern Uganda.
The single Girls O and A’level school, which is located at Aduku town Council, behind the catholic parish church obtained the position number two in the entire Kwania district, a testament of the hard work by the Board, and the dedicated academic staff.
This Catholic founded has always performed very well in Sciences, and sports other curricular activities and has become a Centre of excellence not only in the Lango sub region but northern Uganda.
A total of 16 candidates sat in 2025 at the school, and all of them passed with Result-1, meaning all of them have secured a pass to the next academic levels. This is the reason every parent should entrust the future of their child with Ikwera Girls SS.
The school headmistress, Grace Thorach attributed the better performance to well-equipped laboratory, which facilitated the teaching of sciences and particles, in addition to that, a well-stocked library, conducive learning environment and the teacher’s dedication.
