Lira, Uganda : The Luo Natives | Hillview Junior School in Ayami subcounty, Arwot Omito Parish, Lira City is breaking the stereotype that rural children can’t achieve top grades. This privately owned school has recorded a remarkable improvement, with all its candidates passing in grades one and two. 

AaTheir success is changing perceptions in Erute North and inspiring other rural schools, proving that with determination, commitment, and hard work, any child can succeed academically, not just those in urban areas.

Gilbert Obong, the school director, announced that their results reflect their dedication to enhancing education. He also mentioned that this year, they’re aiming for a perfect 100 percent performance rate.

The community in Arwotomito parish, Ayami subcounty, Erute North is still buzzing with excitement over these impressive results, marking a significant achievement for the area. According to rankings, Hillview Junior School has emerged as the top performer in the 2024 PLE Exams in Lira District among both public and private school.
