EXPOSED! Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng Dimisses Social Media Claims of Cooking Oil Distribution As Alleged By Rival Amongi's Media Bloggers

Lira, Uganda: Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng, a distinguished leader in Lira City, has strongly denied allegations circulating on social media that she is distributing cooking oil to her voters.
The claims, allegedly spread by social media bloggers affiliated with Minister Amongi, suggest that Dr. Aceng is handing out Jeycran yellow cooking oil—a claim she has firmly dismissed as baseless.
Addressing the media at the office of Lira City MP, Honorable Jena Opolot, Dr. Aceng's political assistant, clarified the situation. Opolot accused certain social media promoters aligned with political opponents of spreading false propaganda aimed at damaging Dr. Aceng's relationship with her constituents.
Opolot emphasized that their camp has never planned to distribute cooking oil, as falsely claimed on various social media platforms.
According to Opolot, the planned distribution of Jerricans is to part of mega plan to promote hygiene and sanitation of the water.
She urged opponents to focus on their manifestos rather than resorting to "useless propaganda." He further clarified that while Dr. Aceng has purchased jerricans for distribution to voters, cooking oil is not part of her plans or manifesto.
Dr. Aceng reassured her supporters to remain steadfast and await official communication from her team, cautioning them against being misled by individuals with ill intentions.
Jacob Ocen, the NRM Publicity Secretary for Lira District joined Opolot in condemning the propaganda. He reiterated the NRM's strong stance against such tactics being promoted by the opposition highlighting Dr. Aceng's tangible contributions to the community. These include the repair and construction of boreholes, the provision of jerricans, and significant improvements in healthcare services.
Ocen further praised Dr. Aceng as a qualified and competent leader whose achievements in a short span of time are unparalleled. He noted her dedication to community development, emphasizing that her efforts in repairing and constructing boreholes, as well as enhancing healthcare infrastructure, have made a lasting impact.
Additionally, Dr. Aceng has introduced yellow jerricans branded with portraits of both President Museveni and herself. These jerricans are not only intended to assist households in collecting and preserving water but also serve as a tool for promoting the NRM party's visibility and message.
Ocen also highlighted Dr. Aceng's broader vision for Lira City, which includes initiatives to improve access to clean water, enhance public health services, and foster community resilience. He urged voters to recognize her commitment and focus on her track record of delivering meaningful change.
Currently close bloggers of Minister Such as Ceasor Ivan Okello are the one spot of allegedly spreading the information in different social media platforms across Lango
