The certificate courses are designed for candidates holding Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with good grades in science subjects, while diploma entry extension requirements include completion of relevant certificate courses in Nursing or Midwifery.

He further highlighted that the programs are designed to produce competent healthcare workers capable of serving in hospitals, clinics, and community health settings across Uganda. The institution also offers practical-based training, internships, and opportunities for continuous professional development.
