Lira, Uganda : As the 2026-2027 academic year 2026 Intake Ongoing At Ugandan Prestigious Institution, Victoria School of Nursing& Midwifery, Liracommences, Victoria School of Nursing and Midwifery, a leading healthcare training institution in Northern Uganda, has officially opened admissions for new students into its certificate and diploma programs in various medical fields. He announced that the school has opened its doors to new students eager to pursue careers in the medical field.

Dr. Orec himself an experienced healthcare professional explained the available programs, including certificate programs in Nursing and Midwifery, as well as diploma programs that offer advanced training in the same fields. The certificate courses are designed for candidates holding Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with good grades in science subjects, while diploma entry extension requirements include completion of relevant certificate courses in Nursing or Midwifery.

He further highlighted that the programs are designed to produce competent healthcare workers capable of serving in hospitals, clinics, and community health settings across Uganda. The institution also offers practical-based training, internships, and opportunities for continuous professional development.
