Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has appeared to forgive Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Haruna Kasolo after he travelled to Türkiye without obtaining the clearance Muhoozi had earlier demanded.

Muhoozi recently questioned Kasolo’s trip to Türkiye, saying he had not cleared the minister to leave the country and that Kasolo would have to explain why he travelled without his permission.

The remarks attracted attention because Muhoozi had also warned that ministers who travelled outside Uganda without his clearance could face a Shs30 million fine.
