Chief of Defence Forces Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has assured Ugandans that the country remains protected against any possible external threat.

Gen Muhoozi made the remarks while emphasizing his commitment to Uganda’s security and the protection of the country.

He described himself as the “lion of Uganda,” saying that he remains alert and does not sleep when it comes to matters concerning national security.

According to Gen Muhoozi, Uganda should not be viewed as an easy target by anyone planning to attack the country.

He said the country’s security forces remain prepared to respond to any threat that could put the lives of Ugandans or the country’s interests at risk.

The CDF’s remarks appeared aimed at reassuring Ugandans that the country’s security leadership remains vigilant at all times.

Gen Muhoozi has repeatedly spoken strongly about Uganda’s defence and the need for the country to remain prepared against possible security threats.

He maintained that because he is always watching over the country’s security, no one should dare attack Uganda, describing himself as a lion that never sleeps.
