Dokolo’s Richard Obura Endorses Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba for 2031 Presidency

LIRA — Former National Resistance Movement (NRM) parliamentary aspirant for Dokolo South and Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) mobiliser, Richard Obura, has officially endorsed Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba for the 2031 presidential bid.

Addressing the media shortly after participating in a recent PLU endorsement event, Obura urged all Ugandans—regardless of their political affiliations—to rally behind Gen. Muhoozi. He reaffirmed the widely held view among supporters that the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) is the rightful "protector of NRM gains" after President Yoweri Museveni.

Obura pledged to intensify his mobilisation efforts for the 'MK project,' promising to extend his outreach campaigns far beyond the Lango sub-region.

He further lauded key regional and national figures, including Hon. Micheal Mawanda , David Kabanda and Health Minister Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng, alongside other PLU ideologues, for spearheaded the vision and driving the movement forward.
