Will You Pass? Daudi Kabanda Announces A Test To Be Done Soon To Know The Loyalists Of PLU
Political figure Daudi Kabanda has sparked discussion after announcing that a test will soon be conducted to identify loyal supporters of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU).
In a message shared on X, formerly Twitter, Kabanda hinted that the upcoming exercise would reveal those who are genuinely loyal to the organisation. His statement immediately raised questions about the nature of the test and what participants would be expected to demonstrate.
“We shall soon know the loyalists of PLU. Will you pass the test???” Kabanda wrote, challenging people who consider themselves supporters of the organisation.
The message has attracted attention because loyalty is often a significant issue within political movements, where members are expected to demonstrate commitment to the organisation’s objectives and leadership.
However, Kabanda did not explain how the proposed test would be conducted, when exactly it would take place or the criteria that would be used to determine who qualifies as a loyal PLU supporter.
His announcement has also prompted questions about whether the exercise will involve political activities, public declarations of support or another form of assessment. At this stage, the available statement does not provide enough details to establish what the process will involve.
The Patriotic League of Uganda has attracted public attention because of its association with General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the country’s Chief of Defence Forces. Statements by people linked to the organisation often generate discussion about its supporters, activities and political direction.
Kabanda’s message has now left supporters waiting for further clarification about the planned exercise. Until he provides more information, it remains unclear what the test will involve and how the organisation intends to identify its loyalists.
