Lira City NRM Workers League Publicity Secretary Hon. Alany Endorses Gen. MK for 2031 Presidency Ahead of PLU Launch

LIRA CITY — Hon. Patricia Alany, the Publicity Secretary for the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Workers League in Lira City, has officially endorsed General Muhoozi Kainerugaba for the 2031 presidential race.

Addressing journalists in Lira City, the rising female politician confirmed her endorsement, describing General Muhoozi as a confident, courageous leader with a clear vision to secure the continuity of socio-economic development across Uganda.

Hon. Alany now joins the ranks of top leaders from the Lango sub-region who have publicly declared their support for Gen. Muhoozi's presidential ambitions amidst intensifying national political mobilisations.

The vocal politician confirmed that the NRM Workers League team is fully mobilised and prepared to actively participate in the upcoming  PLU  launch in Lango sub-region on Sunday 4th. October, 2026 at Mayor’s Garden. 

"We are entirely ready to be part of this historic event at the Mayor’s Garden," Alany stated.

She further called upon the youth across the Lango sub-region to join the drive, actively promote the PLU, and back Gen. Muhoozi's 2031 vision
