Chief of Defence Forces Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has issued a warning to people he says are attempting to fight Maj Gen Kakono, promising that they will soon face serious consequences.
In a statement attributed to Gen Muhoozi on X, he warned those allegedly working against the senior military officer and said he would personally intervene in the matter.
“I want to warn today the people who are trying to fight MG. Kakono. Life is going to be very difficult for you soon. I will fall on you like a tonne of bricks!” Gen Muhoozi reportedly posted.
The statement has attracted attention because of the strong language used by the CDF, who did not publicly provide details about the people he was referring to or explain the specific disagreement involving Maj Gen Kakono.
