Ogang Ogang Herbal Clinic Launches One-Week Community Healthcare Campaign in Amolatar

Amolatar, Uganda: In a dedicated effort to promote natural healing and improve community health, Ogang Ogang Herbal Clinic has launched a week-long health camp in Amolatar district. The initiative aims to provide accessible herbal medical services to residents and raise awareness about the benefits of traditional medicine.

The camp, which started on Monday, 04. 08. 2025 AT ACII PARISH, ACII SUB-COUNTY, AMOLATAR offers free consultations, herbal treatments, health education sessions, and demonstrations on the use of medicinal plants. The clinic’s team of herbalists and health professionals are engaging with community members to address common ailments such as malaria, headaches, stomach issues, infertility, UTI and skin conditions using natural remedies.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, EWARD OGANG , the lead herbalist, emphasized the importance of integrating herbal medicine into mainstream healthcare. “Herbal medicine has been used for generations to treat various illnesses safely and effectively. Our goal is to empower the community with knowledge and provide them with affordable healthcare options,” he said.

The camp is part of Ogang Ogang Herbal Clinic’s broader mission to promote traditional medicine and improve health outcomes in rural areas. Community members expressed appreciation for the initiative, highlighting the accessibility and cultural relevance of herbal treatments.

The week-long campaign is expected to attract many residents seeking alternative healthcare solutions and to foster greater acceptance of herbal medicine as a viable treatment option.
