Oyam Woman MP Hopeful Susan Apili Renews Hope As She Unveils Development Agenda

Oyam District, Uganda: With the political scene heating up, a new face in the NRM, educator Susan Apili, is stirring things up and bringing fresh hope to the locals.

 She’s set her declared on unseating the current woman MP, Santa Alum, and is quickly becoming a well-known figure among both UPC and NRM supporters. 

Apili’s focus on enhancing the education sector has resonated with the community, earning her plenty of backing. When discussing her campaign, the energetic Apili emphasized her goal of bringing effective leadership to Oyam District, which has been sorely lacking, especially in empowering the struggling women in the area. 

She promised to take lead in promoting education in  district. 

She’s convinced that tackling poverty requires a united effort and aims to boost the community’s economic standing. Additionally, Apili promised to enhance health services, particularly by improving government-supported healthcare facilities through collaboration with both government and private partners. 

This publication has discovered that Apili’s political aspirations have garnered significant support and admiration from the community, who see her as a beacon of hope. Mr. Philip Ogile Jakayo, the current NRM spokesperson for Oyam District, shared with us that the party sees great potential in Apili and believes she has what it takes to win against the incumbent.

NRM Apili has also called upon community of Oyam to rally their support to President Museveni. 

She further promised to join forces into fight against poverty as a leader.
