Lango College Headteacher Sam Bob Okin Calls for Discipline Among Students as QFM Conducts School Church Service
Lango District, Uganda: In a rallying call to educators and students alike, Headteacher Sam Bob Okin of Lango College has emphasized the importance of discipline among students during a special church service organized by QFM at the school premises.
Speaking to a school prayer service Headteacher Sam Bob Okin highlighted that discipline is the foundation for academic excellence and personal development.
He urged students to uphold good behavior, respect teachers and peers, and focus on their studies to secure a brighter future.
“Our students are the future leaders of Lango and Uganda at large. It is essential that they embrace discipline in their daily lives to foster a conducive learning environment,” Mr. Okin stated.
He also called on students to concentrate on their academics.
The church service, organized by QFM, aimed to promote moral values and spiritual growth among students. It featured prayers, motivational speeches, and hymns, all emphasizing the importance of integrity, respect, and discipline.
The preacher was rev. Capt Willy Odwee who also made a call on the importance of serving God as a student.
QFM representatives expressed their commitment to supporting educational initiatives in the region, stating that such activities help nurture well-rounded individuals who are not only academically proficient but also morally upright.
As the school year progresses, educators and stakeholders hope that the emphasis on discipline will translate into improved academic performance and character development among students in Lango.
Lango College is among the pioneering academic institution that has Maintained its legacy for long, in the recent exams of last year 2024, the school performed well in National exams both UACE and UCE Exams.
