Ebenezer University–Lira Launches Engineering Faculty to Boost Science Education in Northern Uganda Join Now 

Ebenezer University–Lira, one of the fastest-growing private universities in Northern Uganda, has officially launched a new Faculty of Engineering in a strategic move aligned with the Government of Uganda’s emphasis on promoting science and technology-based education.

According to the university administration, the newly introduced programs have already received accreditation, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s expansion. The university is now inviting applications for its July intake, particularly targeting students interested in pursuing technical and professional engineering courses.

The Faculty of Engineering will initially offer a National Certificate in Engineering-related disciplines such as Building Construction and Plumbing, as well as a Diploma in Civil Engineering. These programs are designed to equip students with hands-on practical skills that meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in Uganda’s construction and infrastructure sectors.
