ARDC Alebtong Jimmy Okello Urges Community to Give Museveni a Block Vote 

ALEBTONG, UGANDA: In a rally  held on Monday  1st. August,  2025 at Akura subcounty, Jimmy Okello, (ARDC), has urged residents to unite and support President Yoweri Museveni in the upcoming elections by giving him a decisive block vote.

Addressing the gathered crowd, Okello emphasized the importance of stability, development, and continuity in leadership, praising Museveni’s long-standing commitment to transforming Uganda’s infrastructure and economy. He stressed that a collective vote for the incumbent would ensure ongoing projects and national progress.

"President Museveni has been our leader through thick and thin. His leadership has brought us roads, schools, and healthcare. I call upon every community member to come together and give him a block vote so that we can continue on this path of development," Okello urged.

He also urged the youth and women to actively participate in the electoral process, highlighting their vital role in shaping the country's future.

The rally attracted supporters from various communities, many expressing confidence in Museveni’s leadership and the importance of unity in voting.

As Uganda approaches the elections scheduled for [date], political analysts believe that a consolidated support base could be pivotal for Museveni’s campaign, especially in rural areas where community mobilization remains strong.

He also welcomed some opposition supporters members to the ruling party during the function and called upon them embrace government programs aimed fighting poverty. 

He was monitoring Parish Development Model progress in the area.

Commissioner Okello further cautioned againt mismanagement of PDM funds.
