Lira NRM Kaguta Cup Team Rallies For Erute South MP Hopeful Hon. Engola A head 2026 Election

Lira, Uganda; The Native| Senior Presidential Advisor, Honourable Sam Engola, has praised Team Kaguta Cup for their support of the NRM government and President Museveni.

During a meeting with the youth-led team, Engola expressed his gratitude for their initiative, which aims to promote government programs and mobilize votes among the youth through games and sports.

 The meeting, held in Abutadii, Awioodyek, over the weekend saw the group pledge their support for Engola's bid to contest the 2026 Erute South parliamentary seat against opposition MP Odur.

The youth urged Engola to address pressing issues such as poverty and poor education and delayed cattle compensation. Engola, a dedicated Christian, cautioned against spreading propaganda about rivals and assured the community of his commitment to development. He acknowledged the challenges posed by misinformation and emphasized the importance of unity.

Maxuel Olong Okwir, Chairperson of the NRM Cadres under Kaguta Cup, assured Engola of their unwavering support. He emphasized their dedication to ensuring Engola secures the party flag for the upcoming election.
