As UHPAB Exams Starts, DAF School Of Nursing And Midwifery- Kole Again Offered Life Changing Busary To Ugandan Students, July Intake
Kampala, Uganda; As the national examinations for nursing students continue across medical schools in the country, it's important for prospective students to be aware of another great opportunity to pursue a career in healthcare. DAF School of Nursing and Midwifery, Kole, has taken a bold step to address the gaps in the healthcare system by offering a half-bursary to students enrolling in their ongoing July intake.
In their weekly media address, DAF School of Nursing and Midwifery, Uganda's most trusted and affordable healthcare professionals training institution, confirmed this exciting development. Ms. Alice Akite, one of the school's Directors overseeing academics and admissions, unveiled the Board of Directors' resolution regarding tuition rates and bursary opportunities.
According to the admissions documents obtained by this publication, new students enrolling in the July Certificate and Diploma programs will only pay a maximum of 1,625000Ugx million Ugandan shillings, which covers tuition, school uniform, and examination fees. This fee is payable without any prior requirements, making it accessible for many aspiring healthcare workers. Moreover, in the subsequent semester, tuition fees will be reduced further for the remaining three semesters, easing the financial burden on students and their families.
Ms. Akite expressed gratitude to the people of Uganda, particularly communities from Teso, Lango, Acholi, and West Nile, for embracing nursing education by sending their children to DAF School. She also highlighted the school's ongoing partnerships with various community organizations to facilitate access to admissions and the provision of scholarships aimed at promoting equitable education opportunities.
